Richard W. Marlin, 48, entered into rest on February 3, 2015 in Manteca, CA.  He was born in Hawthorn, CA to the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard and Linda Marlin on January 30, 1967.
   Mr. Marlin is survived by his wife of six years Lawrence (Lace) Marlin. He deeply loved his five year old little girl Blessy Charence Marlin. His siblings, are Deanna Diggs, brother, Clark Eli Marlin, and Kimberly Marlin. In addition, he is survived by his grandfather; Louis Bertsch, father-in-law and mother-in-law Ernesto and Imelda. He was blessed by 15 nieces and nephews; Tyson, Bradly, Breanne, Michael, Kyle, Katie, Jacob, Joshua, Sarah, Nevaeh, Jeffery, Kate, K.C., Allan, and Ritzlan.
   Richard was a resident of Manteca for forty years. He attended Nile Garden Elementary School and graduated MHS in 1985 where he was an outstanding athlete, playing football and wrestling. After high school Richard went to work for Johnson Control for over 25 years. He was a member of Life Mission Christian Church located at Sequoia Heights Baptist Church in Manteca.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, raising gaming birds, and gardening in the summer. He was an avid football fan supporting the Oakland Raiders and The Manteca Buffaloes. He was a wonderful cook where he was well known for his home made salsa. Richard was always kind and giving as he was always supportive to his family. Above all, Richard’s love of his life was his daughter Blessy; as her name states, she was a true blessing to his life. Richard will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, and uncle. He will be deeply missed.
