Robert Anderson, 88, of Manteca, CA went to be with the Lord in the early morning hours of March 23, 2021.
He was born in Oklahoma and lived there until the passing of his mother when he was 13. Then he and his father made their way West, ending up in California's bay area. He met and married his first wife Joeann Bounds and had one son, later divorcing. Years later he met and married Andrea Slayton. They joined Crossroads Grace Community Church where they became active members in the church. He spent his free time volunteering, spending time with his friends and family, and watching his sports teams especially his SF Giants baseball. He loved watching his grandkids and great-grandkids play softball.
He is survived by his son, Robert Anderson Jr., granddaughters, Kathleen Anderson, Elizabeth Anderson, his great-grand kids, Alexis, Abigayle, Alexandra, Alyssa, those who loved him as grandpa Melissa Fee, Tyler Fee, Frankie Doolittle, Ruthann Slayton and his daughter-in-law Michele Fee.
A viewing will be held at Park View Funeral on Wednesday March 31st, from 9-4 p.m.
His celebration of life will be on April 17th, at 1 p.m. at Crossroads Grace Community Church.
