Robert passed away on Monday, February 9, 2009 with his wife and son by his side.

Beloved husband of Shirley Drew, loving father to Damon Drew and his wife Laurie Drew, grandfather to Gabriel Logan Drew, and brother to Jerry Drew.

Bob was born on May 26, 1939 in Seattle, Washington. Moved to Stockton during his teenage years and was a graduate from Stockton High and Stockton College, class of 1957.  Bob worked in sales for most of his life, selling cars, running his own insurance company, and most recently an advertising sales rep at the Manteca Bulletin for thirteen years.

Bob served in the Air Force for four years and enjoyed golf, bowling, and playing pool. With a smile that touched everyone’s heart, Bob has blessed us all.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 17th at 1:00 p.m. in the Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy 99 & Harney Lane in Lodi. Committal will follow with the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard presenting Military Honors.

Visitation will be held on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 14 and 15, from 1:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, 831 Industrial Way, near Beckman Road, in Lodi.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Robert’s memory to one of the following; Pets & Pals Animal Shelter in Stockton, St. Jude’s, or Make-A-Wish Foundation.
