Robert B. May, 88, was born June 14, 1925 in Manchester, Tennessee and passed away at home in Manteca, CA on December 4, 2013.
   He is survived by his loving wife, Jessie May and his children, Kenneth (Sandy) May,  Janice Cardinalli, Isabel Perez Vera (Christopher deceased) and Gina May. He also leaves grandchildren, Jason R. May, Jeremy May, Stanley Becerra Jr., Kristen Vera Gonzalez, Matthew Vera, Stacy Vera, Lauren Vera, Lianna Chavez and his great grandchildren, Stanley Becerra III, Elijah Becerra, Jasmin Macias, Christopher Gonzalez, Ariana Gonzalez, Isaiah Martinez, Mariah Langarcia, Arabella Gallegos, Marcus Chavez and Isabella Chavez.
   He was preceded in death by his parents, Delphia (May) Berry, Joseph May and five siblings.  Mr. May was a U.S. Navy Veteran and served aboard the USS Earl V. Johnson during WWII. Following his military service, Mr. May was involved in several local veterans organizations.  During his working years, Bob was the owner of Sno-White Cleaners for 43 years.  He was an avid fisherman and he enjoyed camping and spending time with family. 
   His family would like to thank Hospice of San Joaquin and Kaiser Manteca and Stockton for their special care during Bob’s illness.   No funeral services will be held.
