Robert “Bob” Neeley, 86, entered into rest surrounded by his loving family on May 29, 2022 in Manteca. He was born in Stockton July 8, 1935 to the late Walter and Christine Neeley.

   Robert leaves behind his wife of 62 years Linda Neeley of Manteca, his children, Mark Neeley (Paula), Jeff Neeley (Elaine) and DeAnn Cadell (Jim). He leaves behind his loving grandchildren, Jacqueline Neeley, Grant Neeley, Ryan Neeley, Drew Cadell, Kendyl Cadell and Lane Cadell. In addition, Robert leaves behind his sister Marilyn Rauzi.

   Bob was a Stockton/ Manteca native. He attended grammar and high school in Stockton and would go on to graduate from UC Davis with a degree in farming agriculture. He served his country proudly in the United States National Guard and he was a proud Eagle Scout.  Since the young age of 16, Bob worked in French Camp on his family’s property. He worked for Stockton Building Materials, Manteca Cement Company, Howe Chemical Company. He then became owner and operator of B & L Neeley Incorporated. Bob would never fully retire as he enjoyed keeping busy and making himself useful.  In his down time, Bob lived an active life. He enjoyed fishing, water skiing, camping and hiking in the Sierra. Bob worked out daily and would ride in a 100k bike ride. The best time was always accompanied by family and friends. Bob was a member of the Stockton Water Ski Club, Stockton Lions Club and Manteca Rotary.

   Above all family was everything to Bob. He was proud of his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. He looked forward to family get- togethers and loved them all unconditionally. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed.

   P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the Neeley family. A chapel service will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road, Manteca. He will be laid to rest privately at St. John’s Catholic Mausoleum.

   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be designated in Robert Neeley's name to Hospice of San Joaquin (3888 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, CA 95204) or St. Anthony's Catholic Church Music Ministries, 505 E. North Street, Manteca, CA 95337
