Robert E. Kierbow, 77, died Saturday, May 15, 2010 at his residence in Lathrop. He was born on April 15, 1933 in San Diego and lived in Lathrop for 45 years.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Thelma J. Kierbow; children, Jay Alan Sylvester of Lathrop and Kathy Ann Fine of Galt; sister, Beverly Enze of Lodi; grandchildren, Michelle Price of Modesto and Amy Sylvester Morales of Galt; great-grandchildren, Michael Reno, Kassee Massone, Timothy Reno, Nicholas Schell, Joseph Ortiz; and many other family members. He was preceded in death by his father, the late Erwin Kierbow, his brother, Don Kierbow and great-grandson, Robert Price.

He was a veteran of the United States Navy from 1950-1952. Robert loved driving trucks. He loved fishing and going to car shows to show his 1963 Cadillac.

Arrangements are under the direction of P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Road, Manteca. An online guest book is available at www.plfryandson.com. Visitation will be today, May 19, from 1 to 5 p.m. at P.L. Fry & son. Graveside service will be Thursday, May 20, at 11 a.m. at Lodi Memorial Cemetery, 3750 East Pine Street, Lodi.
