Robert Hagglund passed away of natural causes on December 22, 2015 at his home in Lathrop, California, at the age of 72.  Robert was born in La Porte, Indiana in 1943, and grew up with his brother Larry, and sister Dorothy.  He joined the Army in 1960, and was stationed overseas in Germany until 1963.  In December of 1972 he married Lois in La Porte, Indiana.  Their life together has taken them from one side of the United States to the other, eventually landing in San Joaquin County, which has been their home for about the last 30 years.  Robert worked at Mountain Valley Express until around 1995 when due to a health issue was no longer able to work.  Robert had many interests including stamp collecting, fishing, riding motorcycles, and solving problems with his many inventions.  He also enjoyed reading books and writing stories. 
   The family is holding a celebration of life ceremony on February 6, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the clubhouse of the Camino Real Mobile Estates trailer park, located at 15820 S. Harlan Rd. in Lathrop.
