Roberta Ramey

Roberta Ramey passed peacefully November 18th with loved ones at her bedside.
   Roberta was born in Stockton to the late Charles and Lillian (nee Krisha) Keyes, on June 3, 1946.  She was raised in Ripon and was a long time resident of Manteca.
   Twenty nine of Roberta’s years were spent in the banking industry, with the last 19 at Darlene’s Dog Grooming fulfilling her passionate love of animals.  She spent her time between work, volunteering, helping friends and kitty rescue.  She enjoyed a couple of Reno getaway trips per year in celebration of special birthdays.
   Roberta was well recognized in and around Manteca for her devotion to charity work and  volunteering.  She was a humanitarian who gave of her time to both people and pets.  She will be remembered for her kindness and compassion in her never ending pursuit of helping others.
   Roberta was pre-deceased by her long time love Glen S. Kendall.
   Roberta is survived by her brother Robert and wife Claudia, niece Lori Elliott, nephew Chuck Keyes and cousins, Virginia and Jane Nolan.
   Her spirit of kindness, determination and her sense of humor will be deeply missed by her extended family, Darlene Lindquist and Nancy Napier, Sharon Cleary Lee, Jan Turner, Dennis and Betty Camicheal.
Roberta’s courage in the end was inspired by her favorite verse,
‘ Hear My Soul Speak’ -Your soul should never be silenced... you should never give up.
   A celebration of Roberta’s life will be held on Saturday, December 12th, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Park View Memorial Chapel, 3661 E. French Camp Road, Manteca, CA
