On September 30, 2014, God called His precious one home. Roger leaves behind his wife of 30 years, Joyce. He leaves his three daughters, Toni Jo Payne (Ed), Barbara Jean Bell (Frank), Patricia Ann Patterson (Greg), his stepson, Mark William Oncay (Lisa), and his sister Virginia Manly. He leaves many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and stepdaughter, Cheryl. Roger proudly served his country as a Marine.
   Any remembrances may be donated to Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Ave., Stockton, CA 95204. A memorial service will be held on November 1, 2014, at 11:30 a.m., at First Baptist Church, 715 E. North St., Manteca, where Roger was a member and served as Trustee.
