Roland Roelling of Manteca passed away Saturday, January 17.  He was born to the late Elmer and Delta Strong on November 16, 1949.
  Baseball and family were life for Roland who played through school and later umpired and coached.  Roland also enjoyed spending time with his family at wine tasting events and cheering on his beloved San Francisco Giants.
  Roland is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Brian and Robin, granddaughter Haley, daughter Stephanie, and several brothers and sister.
  The life of Roland will be celebrated in an ash spreading ceremony this summer.
