Ron rests peacefully awaiting the return of his Lord and Savior.
He was preceded in death by his daughters, Terry Clements-Thompson, Kimberly Thompson and brother Roger Thompson. He leaves behind two daughters, Tina Thompson and Jennifer Clements-Thompson, two grandchildren, Dillon Baker, and Kendra Leapheart- Thompson, an older brother, younger sister, nieces, nephews and several very dear  friends.
Ron grew up in Manteca, attending local schools including East Union High school class of 1977. He served his country for 16 years in the United States Navy, and eventually worked as an inspector at nuclear energy facilities, mostly on the east coast.  Ron was well respected by his colleagues and made friends easily wherever he went. He had a dry, sarcastic sense of humor that most of his family and friends appreciated.
Family was always a priority for Ron. He loved being a dad, a husband, a brother, an uncle and grandpa. His quirky sense of humor provided a lot of fun for those around him. One of Ron’s favorite sayings was “Money is like love and chocolate. It’s only good when shared.” In that vein, for those of you that knew Ron, share some money, love or chocolate with someone you care for.
