Ronald Wayne Culver, proud father of twins and grandfather of nine, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2020, in Stockton, CA. He was 58.
   The second of three children,“Ronnie,” as he was called, was born in Stockton on September 6, 1961 to Harold Wayne Culver and Otoma Florence Smith. He graduated from East Union High School, Manteca in 1979. He began as a machine operator at Leprino Foods and later drove a truck for Swift Transportation, which honored him with a One-Million Safe Miles Award. Full of fun facts and easy to talk to, he was a consummate musician and played bass guitar with his own Silver Wings country music band. He loved the Oakland Raiders, NASCAR, baseball, and never missed the Manteca Pumpkin Festival.
   Ronnie is survived by his son, David Culver and daughter, Jennifer Culver, sisters, Theresa Lee and Pamela Joyce, and nine grandchildren.
   A celebration of life will be held Sunday, August 30, from 5-9 p.m. at the French Camp Sports Bar & Grill, 3919 French Camp Road, Manteca 95336. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, September 1, at 2 p.m. at Park View Funeral Home, 3661 E. French Camp Road, Manteca 95336.
