   Rose Wilson passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family at the age of 88, on April 5, 2015. She was born on June 8, 1926 in San Francisco, California. Her parents, Giuseppe and Maria Cundari immigrated to the United States from Southern Italy. She was incredibly proud of her Italian heritage. She was raised in Stockton, CA, where she attended Stockton High School. After losing both parents at a young age, she cared for her younger brother, Angelo, helping raise him as a young adult. Rose received a Presidential Certificate of Commendation from President Harry S. Truman for working on the Selective Service Draft Board. She then worked as a bank teller at Union Safe Deposit Bank, making many life-long friends before becoming a housewife and raising her children on the Wilson family ranch.
   Rose is preceded in death by her husband of forty-seven years, Robert Wilson, her brother Angelo Cundari (Linda), and her daughter Suzanne Wilson. She is survived by her son, Richard Wilson (Larissa), her daughter Robin Wilson, and loving grandchildren, Jesyca (Marcos), Robbi, Kayci (Mike), Lucy, and Carly. Rose was a passionate mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her loved ones and making precious memories. She will be remembered for her kind heart and infectious smile.
   P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Wilson family. The family invites friends and loved ones to a viewing on Sunday, April 12, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and a rosary beginning at 4:00 p.m. at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home in Manteca, CA. Mass will be held at St. Anthony’s Catholic church on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Following the Catholic mass, the family invites all to attend the burial ceremony at St. John’s Cemetery located in Escalon, CA. A celebration of life will follow at the M.R.P.S. Hall in Manteca, CA. The family invites friends and loved ones to attend in celebration of Rose’s life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any animal organization in honor of Rose’s love for animals or the American Heart Association.
