Ross Joseph Ogden K

We will forever miss the humor, quick wit, ready smile, big heart, and gentle spirit of our son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend, Ross Joseph Ogden. Ross was born August 26, 1987, in Modesto California, to Phil  (2009) and Mona Ogden.
Ross passed away in Quincy, Illinois, on June 27th, with his mother, grandmother, Mona Ross, and partner, Stacey Pablo by his side. Ross loved and missed his mom and family in California, but found his niche in Illinois. Ross enjoyed his life with his partner, Stacey, and his family of friends in Quincy. Fishing on the Mississippi River (or anywhere else) was what he loved to do with any spare time. Ross was a fun loving, non-judgmental and loyal friend. Ross was known as a big teddy bear, always ready to listen, help, or comfort a friend. He kept those around him entertained and always found the positive in people and situations. Even through his times of struggle, his inner joy shone through his beautiful blue eyes.
Ross continues to bless the lives of others by sharing himself. Ross was very proud of his decision to become an organ donor. In death he has become our hero. His heart continues to beat in Chicago, Illinois, and his liver has saved a life in Kentucky. Donations may be made to the Gift of Hope at http://www.giftofhope.org/ in honor of Ross Ogden.
A celebration of life was held at Ross’s special dock on the Mississippi River.
