Born in OK to Wm. Jasper and Julia Flowers, Ted journeyed to Bakersfield at an early age where he attended school. During those hard times growing up he worked in the hay and cotton fields, he served in the Army during the Korean War and later he married and raised three children while working in a machine shop in Southern CA. In the 1960’s he moved to this area where he worked in the poultry production field. He married Joan Sinarle in 1974 and together they moved to Idaho where they owned a truck wash business. Returning to California in the 1980s, he went into farming and spent the last 17 years in Ripon.
He leaves his wife Joan, brother Bob of Idaho, son Curtis and daughter Arnell of Bakersfield, step-sons Tim of Modesto and Jon of Ripon. He also leaves numerous nieces and nephews, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was a Lifetime Member of the American Legion and an active member of the Ripon Grange.
Visitation will be Thursday, Nov. 29th from 2:00p.m. to 5:00p.m. at Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel. Services will be Friday, Nov. 30th at 1:00p.m. at Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel followed by burial at Ripon Cemetery.
