Samuel DeLeon Jr., 75 of Modesto peacefully passed away on September 17th, after bravely facing illness.

   A beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather he was known for his love of the 49ers and Giants. He graduated from Manteca High and dedicated his career to the Tracy Defense Depot before retiring. 

   Samuel is survived by his loving wife of 50 yrs Barbara Gail DeLeon; devoted

mother; Bea Moreno, brothers; Mario DeLeon and Peter Moreno and children Kimberley Herrera, Galen Reyes, Samuel DeLeon III, Rebecca Dow, and Crystal Benning. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. 

   A celebration of life will be held on October 5th, at 1:00 p.m. at 1830 E Yosemite Ave., Manteca. The family invites friends to join them in sharing memories and stories.
