Samuel G. Echols was born on November 15, 1928 and passed away on February 4, 2009.  

Samuel was a U.S. Marine war veteran of two wars and loved both his country and his family every day of his life.  

Samuel is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years Francine Echols, his children Rosemary Langenhorst, John Underwood, Michelle and Mike Bays, David and Teresa Echols, Joel and Angie Echols, Denise and Jeff Bolton, as well as his sister-in-law Rhoda Howard and her children Tesa Smith, Peggy Chambers, Gerald Echols, and by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who all loved him dearly.

Arrangements are being handled by Park View Funeral Home, 3661 E. French Camp Road, Manteca.  Services will be held on Tuesday February 10, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the Park View Memorial Chapel, 3661 E. French Camp Road, Manteca, with internment to follow at Park View Cemetery, with Pastor Mike Dillman presiding.  A celebration of Samuel’s life will be held after the service at the First Assembly of God Church.
