Sam passed away in his home in Manteca. He was born in Weed, CA and graduated from Fremont High School in Oakland.  Sam served in the US Army and enjoyed a career as a Meat Cutter for 52 years.
   He touched many lives with his kind, generous and fun ways.
   Sam is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Marjorie; devoted daughters Sherry Fabela (husband Robert), Debra Marini (husband James); grandson Jarrod Marini (wife Kristiann); granddaughter Jehrica Marini along with his extended family of two grandchildren, six great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and many others who were proud to call him Uncle or Papa Sam.
   His generous loving spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
   Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Prayer Service on Saturday, January  4, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the
P. L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Rd., Manteca www.plfryandson.com 
   In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to disabled veterans are appreciated.
