Shane E. Ellis, 62, passed away on the morning of July 10,  2018. Shane was born June 26, 1956 to the late Bonnie Robles and Roy Ellis in Oakland, CA.

   Shane loved to tell jokes to family and friends and to any stranger who would listen. He loved fishing on his boat, reading and listening to his audiobooks on his way to work. Shane also loved to cook and travel. He was happiest riding his motorcycle with friends. Shane was also a fraternal member of E. Clampus Vitas Tuleburgh Chapter #69. Shane also served in the U.S. Navy from 1973 to 1975. Shane worked for Consolidated Engineering out of San Ramon, CA for the last 11 years as a special inspector. Before that he worked at Franzia Winery in Ripon, CA. He also worked part time as a bartender at the 133 Club and Tammys.    Shane leaves behind his wife of 30 years Connie Lopez, his sons Beto Lopez-Ellis and Nick Lopez-Ellis and his daughter’s from a previous marriage Stephanie and Meghan Ellis, his sister’s Larinda Pradia and Kathy Robles and his brother-in- laws Nick Rodriguez (Trish), Frank Rodriguez (Maria), Alex Lopez (Mona), Robert Lopez and his mother-in-law Vickie Lopez. Shane also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and many friends.

   He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
