Sharlene Barnes, 63, entered into rest on July 30, 2012 in Modesto, CA. She was born on November 22, 1948 in Manteca CA. She joins her parents John and Dorothy Enos in heaven.

Sharlene is survived by her children; Carolyn Welch (Patrick) and John Barnes. She was blessed with two grandchildren Tyler Lewis and Hannah Welch. She has two surviving brothers Bob and Ed Enos.

Sharlene worked for the Ripon Unified School District, working for Ripona Elementary School for over 30 years. She loved her job as her heart and soul were the children at Ripona. She loved spending time with her own children and grandchildren; they were the apple of her eye as she supported them in everything they set forth in doing. Sharlene will be remembered as an amazing mother, grandmother and sister. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

P.L. Fry & Son is honored to her serving the Barnes family. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 7 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Rd., Manteca. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 8 at 10:00 a.m. held at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, 17871 S. Carrolton Rd., Escalon.
