Sharon Elizabeth Gregson, 55, entered into eternal rest surrounded by her loving family on January 28, 2012 at Doctors Hospital in Manteca. She was born to the late Andrew and Esther Gollihare in San Jose on April 21, 1956. As well as her parents Sharon joins her brother Derrell Gollihare in heaven.

Sharon leaves behind the love of her life John Gregson of Manteca. Her adored children are Tom Gregson and wife Greda of Manteca, Carol Gregson – Pettit and husband Gary of Manteca, Tim Gregson and wife Jennifer of Manteca and Sharon Gregson. She is the special grandma of Mallory, Shelby, Holley, Miranda, Garrett and a new grandbaby on the way. Sharon leaves five siblings Evonne Vivo and husband David of NV, Larry Gollihare of Manteca, Lonnie Gollihare of Modesto, Jerry Gollihare of Manteca and Debbie Gollihare of Turlock. A special acknowledgement to a few people who Sharon considered family Sandy McCammond, Chris Rash and Julie Larson.

Sharon was a bay area native before making home in Manteca. She worked as a day care provider along with her daughter Carol. Sharon had an easy going personality, who loved life. She adored her children immensely and she was so proud to show off her grandbabies. She looked forward to her getaways with her husband, to her favorite little place in Carmel, Mission Ranch, as she loved the old style charm it had. Sharon often said Catalina Islands were the best place to be, because it was never too cold or too hot. She would never say no to a motorcycle ride always listening to her favorite oldie. Like everyone in Sharon’s family she had a passion for cars especially FORD which matched her personality of being “built Ford tough”. Although Sharon loved Fords, her heart remained faithful to her Metropolitan. Sharon loved the simplicity of life, how a humming bird would make her smile and a tulip would brighten her day. She lived to the fullest and showed everyone in her family how much she loved them, and how she was so proud of each one of them. Sharon will be remembered for the honest and pure love she shared with her husband, for the guidance and friendship she gave her children, for being the best grandma to her adored grandbabies and for exceeding and demonstrating the true meaning of love. She will be missed.
