March 8, 1942-February 21, 2012
Terry

Sherron Terry, (69) entered into rest on February 21, 2012 in Manteca. She was born on March 8, 1942 and was raised in and around the East Bay where she met and found her husband and the love of her life Jim Terry. To Jim, she was his “Angel from Heaven.” They fast became inseparable and knew they were each other’s “Soul Mate” rather quickly, so much that they married on July 25, 1959 in Reno, NV, at the tender age of 17.

She leaves behind Jim, her husband of 52 plus years, and son James Terry, daughter-in-law Bonnie, as well as two beautiful granddaughters, Lauren and Sarah, whom she loved, all of Manteca. She also leaves behind four beloved sisters: JoAnn Moore of Martinez, CA; Victoria Vasquez of Sacramento; CA, Kathy Meldin and Fredna Pippin, of Bolder City, NV.

Her family and the close friendships she invested in over the years meant the world to her. Sherron loved music, dancing and playing card games with family and friends. Anyone who was around Sherron knew of her love for Elvis with her favorite song being “Love Me Tender” which she would “crank up” every time it played. Sherron loved shopping, flea markets, & yard sales. She loved looking and finding a great deal and collecting unique jewelry pieces which she thoroughly loved to mix and match each day with her wardrobe. She commonly was complimented on her jewelry and it wasn’t uncommon for her to just turn around and give that piece of jewelry to someone just to see them smile.

She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and a very close and dear friend who will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held March 10, 2012 at 12 o’clock (noon) at Grace Community Church, located at 850 J Street, Lathrop, CA.
