Stephen C. Van Voris left this world and into the arms of Our Lord on Aug. 7, 2011. Born Dec. 11, 1948 in Stockton, CA, he was a long time Manteca resident.  He graduated MHS in 1967 and attended Chico State. He was a veteran of  the Vietnam war. Steve was a outspoken man, both with his likes and dislikes. His first love was music and he
enjoyed playing drums and guitar. He also enjoyed auto drifting and the outdoors.

He is survived by Collette Van Voris, 35, and Chris Van Voris, 24, of Manteca, Florence Van Voris and Verna Gemananni of Vacaville, CA. A rememberance service will be held Sept. 10, 10am-3pm. Please call Collette 209-922-7446 for details.
