Stephen Mark Perez, 39, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at his home in Modesto. He died peacefully in his sleep. He is survived by his father Julian Perez. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Perez. He is also survived by three beautiful children, Julianna, Stephen, and Mateo Perez. He was born in Palo Alto, Cal. on Feb. 16, 1970. He attended Nile Garden School in Manteca and graduated from East Union High School in 1988. He worked in the Bay Area and the Central Valley in sales.

Services will be held at Eaton Funeral Home at 513 12th Street, Modesto, Cal. as follows: Viewing on Friday, August 28, 2009, from 5 to 8 p.m. Memorial on Wednesday, Sept. 2, at 3 p.m. There will be a “celebration of Steve’s life” in Manteca following the memorial service on Wednesday at Chris McConnel’s home, 1178 Mission Ridge Dr., Manteca, CA 95337.
