Thelma Mae Caylor was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on January 13, 1930, and passed away on January 2, 2015, in Modesto.
    She is survived by her husband of 43 years, B.L. “Roy” Caylor of Modesto;
daughter, Emily “Kim” J. (Larry) Ashabraner; stepdaughters, Linda
Gottsberg and Laura Caylor; and brother John Jennings.
   She was preceded in death by children Sonny Truitt and Sherry Oliver; her parents, three sisters and three brothers.
    Thelma was a helpmate to her husband Roy, who was very active in Kiwanis. She loved to travel, taking various cruises to Mexico and Alaska.
Her and Roy also traveled cross country in their motor home seeing the U.S.A. and visiting family in Texas and South Carolina.
   A memorial service will be held at 11a.m., January 31, at Park View Memorial  Chapel, 3661 E. French Camp Rd., in Manteca.
