Thurman Brown otherwise known as T.C. to all those who knew and loved him passed away on October 3, 2014.
He was born on October 1, 1934 in Canon City, Colorado to Velda and Ted Brown. He was a resident of Manteca for the past 46 years. He retired from Simplot after 25 years as a Maintenance Millwright Mechanic.
He was a true Renaissance man, he was known for his woodworking, carving and metal work. During the last years of his life he became a collector and restorer of antique tractors. His last wish was to ride his red Mustang scooter up to Pikes Peak, Colorado. He was always ready to help out anyone in need and known as the neighborhood fix it man.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years Vida Brown, brother Chleo of Helena, Oklahoma, sons: Jim and David Brown, seven grandchildren and one step grandchild. Upon his request no funeral services will be held. Donations to Hospice can be made in his name.
