Tommy Allen Bullard, 78, of Manteca, California passed away on April 7, 2018 peacefully and surrounded by his family.
Tommy was born in Oklahoma on July 3, 1939 and moved to Tracy, California as a young boy. Tommy graduated from Tracy High School in 1957. Tommy married his wife of 57 years, Linda (Duke) Bullard, in 1960. They had two children, Janet and Thomas.
Tommy was proud to serve our country in the United States Navy from 1957-1961 and was a continuous supporter of our troops.
Tommy worked as a Train Master for the Southern Pacific/Union Pacific Railroad and retired as a Manager of Train Operations. After retirement, Tommy found a brotherhood and camaraderie in the Elks Lodge of Tracy.
Tommy enjoyed traveling with his wife, spending time with his children and grandchildren, watching sports and listening to old western music.
Tommy is survived by his wife Linda (Duke) Bullard, aunt Ina (Jackson) DaCosta, uncle Lynn Jackson, his daughter Janet (Bullard) Rose, his son Thomas Bullard and wife Colleen, his grandsons, Kevin Rose and wife Solana Bryan Bullard, Jason Rose and wife Ruby, and great grandchildren Cecelia, Aleena, Danielle, and Jason Jr. and numerous cousin and extended family.
Tommy is preceded in passing by his mother Myrle (Jackson) Aston, step-father Roga Aston, father Virgil Bullard, aunt Wilma (Jackson) Edwards, and aunt Betty (Jackson) Wright.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 1:00pm at the Tracy Elks Lodge, 6400 W. Eleventh Street, Tracy, CA.
Interment service will be held at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Santa Nella, CA, on Monday, April 30, 2018 at 10:00am.
