Troy Eule Vaughn II a.k.a. “Scooter” was born on January 31, 1961 in Tracy. Even though he grew up in Manteca, he bought the farm in Texas seven years ago and called it home.  He raised livestock and chickens there, and was known in the area for having the best farm fresh eggs and his sense of humor.  He lived a simple life but left us with rich memories that will last a lifetime. 

Troy passed on May 2, 2011 at his home in Rosanky, Texas.

Troy is survived by his spouse Carol Darling; stepsons Anthony and Daniel Darling; sisters Terry Ann Bradford (Mike Gordon Bradford) and Dianne Grace Schneider; brother Roy Charles Vaughn “Skip” (Cindy Vaughn, Alexandria Patrick, Richie Patrick); nephews Michael Gordon Bradford II (Frankie L. Bradford) and Kenneth Jerome Schneider; great-nephew Michael Gilliam Bradford III and great-nieces Mikayla Eve Bradford and Breana L. Flores.

A wake will be held at his sister Terry Bradford’s home at 540 North Street in Lathrop on May 22, 2011 at 3 p.m. and end no later than 6 p.m.  All will be encouraged to have fun, talk about their memories of Troy and have a bite to eat and drink in memory of Troy.  We will be celebrating his life in the fashion he asked for.
