Ursula M. Belaski was born Ursula M. Mateo on August 4, 1924 in Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii. She passed away at age 85 on April 13, 2010 at her residence in Manteca.

She was a 25-year Manteca resident.

She was preceded in death by her husband William C. Belaski.

Ursula is survived by her children Leandra Belaski of Manteca, Wilma Dominici of Manteca, Adeline Braun of Manteca’ William and Tomasita Belaski of Manteca, and Roland S. Estaris of Cottonwood, CA.

Preceding her in death were children Sharon Gutierrez and Lorna Jean Belaski.

She is also survived by sister Margaret Hammer of San Rafael, CA; 15 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Ursula was a homemaker. She was also an award-winning foster mother in San Mateo County.  Ursula was a member of the First Assembly God/the Place of Refuge Church in Manteca.  She was an extraordinary cook and baker.  She enjoyed collecting porcelain dolls.  Her family said, “She was a very outgoing person who loved to cook and bake for anybody.  She was a  faithful woman of God.  She loved listening and watching the “Gaither Vocal Band.”  She loved singing Southern Gospel Music.

Services are Monday, April 19, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Place of Refuge, 486 Button Avenue, Manteca. The final resting place is Park View Cemetery 3661 E. French Camp Road, Manteca.
