It is with great sadness that the family of Vanessa Paige Fatzer announce her passing on February 13, 2019, in French Camp, CA at the age of 26.
She joins her father, Kevin Fatzer, in heaven, along with grandparents Glenn and Lavonna Smith, Edward and Carolyn Fatzer.
She is survived by her mother Lori Rawlins and step-father Eugene Rawlins, brothers, Jacob Fatzer (Jessica) and Logan Fatzer (Christina), nephew Kevin and nieces, Nevaeh, Liana and Aria. Being their “Auntie Ness” was one of her greatest joys. She is also survived by many aunts and uncles, cousins, friends and beloved partner Joel Stapleton.
Vanessa was born in Manteca, CA, graduating from East Union High School, class of 2010, and then attended Delta College. She was currently employed by Kelly Moore Paint. Previously employed by Orchard Supply Hardware until they closed their doors.
Vanessa was easy-going, loving, caring, considerate, and hard working. She cherished her time with family, especially with her nieces and nephew. Vanessa had a great sense of humor and could be quite silly, but she was also introverted and introspective. She loved reading, anime, gaming, music, animals, Disney, cooking and baking, candy, crazy socks and was an avid t-shirt collector. Vanessa enjoyed the mountains, camping, and swimming. Her favorite place to be was the beach, fulfilling a dream of night snorkeling with Manta Rays in Hawaii last year and was planning another trip this year to do the same.
We will always remember her infectious smile, gentleness, generosity, and her unconditional love for all. Her presence in our lives will be dearly missed.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 23, at Crossroads Grace Church, 1505 Moffat Blvd., Manteca, CA.
