Velma Hubble bw

Velma Hubble went home to be with her Lord on December 24, 2015. She trusted Him with unwavering faith and devotion all through her life.  Amazingly, she was never admitted to a hospital in her 95 years until 1-1/2 weeks before she passed away.  She always gave God the credit for her excellent health.  She shared her faith with anyone who would listen.
She was born on May 2, 1920 to the late Willie and Nanci Breshears; the 4th of nine children. Velma was married to the love of her life, the late Charles Hubble, for 49 years. Their daughter, Freida Mae Hubble, passed away at age one.
She is survived by her son, Bill Hubble, and her daughter, Pauline Luiz, both of Lathrop, CA. She leaves behind four grandchildren; Denise Castles, Richard Hubble, Dennis Estes, Jr. and Dorene Deakin.  She had eight great-grand children and four great-great- grandchildren.  She was a “2nd Mom” to Shirley Pedregon and the late Herman Cabal.  She cherished her family and loved all family get-togethers.
Velma served at Trinity Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church as a Bible teacher and in the Ladies’ Auxiliary for many years.  She enjoyed sewing and quilting; as well as gardening and home canning her fruits and vegetables.  One of her greatest passions was visiting shut-ins and offering them encouragement.  She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
Services will be at Park View Funeral Home, in French Camp, CA on Monday, January, 4th at 10:00.  Burial will follow at Farmington Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Life Guard Hospice Care in Pleasanton, CA.
