Vincent “Vince” Villavicencio, 84, was born in San Diego and moved to Manteca, Modesto area in 1976. He passed away after a courageous fight with kidney disease. He was a truck driver until his retirement from Mountain Valley Express, Manteca. Vince enjoyed fishing trips to Alaska, camping, traveling to the Indian Pow Wow gatherings, and bingo. Vince is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Della Villavicencio, his loving watch dogs, Chica and Star of Salida. He leaves behind his children, Raymond Villavicencio and Brenda Santos of Modesto, Barbara Hoover of La Grange, Thomas Sheley of Salida , Danny Sheley of Quitman, Texas, Marvin Sheley of Wilder, ID, and granddaughter he raised, Amber Sheley of Salida, and a brother, Vincente Villavicencio of New Mexico, and his extended family, Scott and Deena Blevins of Oakdale. He leaves behind 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

A special thanks to Community Hospice for your kindness and support. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011 at 2 p.m., St. Paul’s Church, 910 E. North Ave., Manteca. Donations can be made to Community Hospice, Modesto.
