Vivian Pearson, 92, entered into rest on Monday, August 31, 2020 in Turlock, CA. She was born to the late Virgil and Ruby Whitley in Pasadena, CA.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Joel Whitley and her beloved husband, Eugene Oliver Pearson.
Mrs. Pearson is survived by her family, daughters, Kathy Brown of Alabama, Jacqueline Tice of Florida and sister Carolyn Pacheco of Fresno, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, as well as many other family members and two dear friends, Robert Haney and Norma Richardson.
A 70 year resident of Manteca, Vivian owned and operated The Mode O'Day Store for Woman on Yosemite Ave. in Manteca in the 1980s. Vivian embraced her community where she made many lifelong friendships. She enjoyed knitting and gardening. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Eastern Star and the American Legion of Stockton.
P.L. Fry & Son is honored to be serving the Pearson family. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Park View Cemetery.
