Wallace Dean Copeland born May 31, 1932 entered into rest on January 27, 2012 in Manteca, California he was 79 years old.

Wallace Copeland was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Lela Copeland as well as his siblings Lela Copeland, Josephine Goodin, Robert Copeland and Michael Copeland.

Wallce is survived by his children; Kellee Adams, Stacy Pinney, Sabrina Murphy and Bryce Copeland and 13 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. He also leaves behind 5 siblings (sisters) Roberta Stevens (Robert F.) Barbara Copeland, Hazel Parsons (Ron), Linda Duggan (Terry), and Karen Herrington (Robert). As well as numerous nieces and nephews. His grandchildren Ty Cox, Alexis Copeland and Brock Murphy.

He attended school in Manteca, California and graduated from Manteca Union High in 1951. He enlisted in the Navy in 1952 and served on several different ships. He retired as Chief Petty Officer. He served 22 years in the Navy with 2 years of recruiting. He retired in 1974. After leaving the Navy he worked at various jobs that made him happy before finally retiring. He settled in Manteca raising his grandson who adopted and raised as his son.

He will truly be missed but never forgotten as he was loved by many.

Arrangements are under the direction of P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road, Manteca.
