Walter Bush

Walter N. Bush, 81, entered into rest on September 22, 2017 in Manteca, CA. He was born in Indiana on October 6, 1935 to the late Beulah and Russell Bush.
   He is preceded in death by his parents and his three brothers.
   Walter is survived by his wife of 60 years Maurine and their daughter Malinda Kay Bush, as well as, many nieces and nephews.
   Walter proudly served his country through the United States Air Force. After serving his country, Walter then made his lifelong career with the Defense Logistics Agency in Tracy as a Transportation Specialist retiring in 1990. Walter served on the Board of Directors for the Manteca Senior Center where he was recognized for his dedication and service. Walter made many friends at the Senior Center where he enjoyed playing bingo, pool and organizing many dinners for the members and veterans. He was also very instrumental in having the bingo board installed for their weekly bingo games. Besides the Senior Center, he was a member of both the VFW and the American Legion. Walter was extremely fond of his toy poodles, Candy Apple, QT-Ketchup and Coco. He enjoyed an evening of relaxing with them at his side. Walter will be remembered as a devoted husband, father and friend. He will be deeply missed.
