Wan Jee, 92, entered into eternal rest on April 27, 2014, in Elk Grove, CA. He was born on October 19, 1921, in Canton, China. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Concha Jee.
Mr. Jee is survived by his children and their spouses; John (Sophie) Jee, Joana Jee, Jordan (Cheryl) Jee, Jacqueline (Jim) Lee, Jerrold Jee, and James (Sharon) Jee. He was blessed by eight grandchildren; Jason (Tina), Jamie (Andy), Jeffrey (Kim), Courtney, Megan, Trevor, Mary and Debbie (Neile). He adored his great-grandchildren Kayla, Aidan, Corrine, Ethan,  Ashley, Olivia and Annabelle. In addition, Wan has a niece and nephew May (Jimmy) Mah and Wally Wong.
   Wan was a resident of Manteca for 68 years. He proudly served his country through the United States Army Air Force. Wan worked for the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier for 20 years. While working for the postal service, Wan and his wife Concha owned and operated Jee’s Juvenile Shop of Manteca from 1960 to 1992. He was a long-time member of Northgate Community Church. He enjoyed the simple things in life with gardening being one of his favorite pastimes. Wan was a wonderful husband and father as he always instilled family values, good character and proper work ethic. He was highly respected as a humble man of great wisdom and knowledge. He will be remembered for his friendly spirit, his caring attitude and his contagious smile that always lit up the room. Wan will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
   P.L. Fry & Son is honored to be serving the Jee family. A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at
10 a.m., followed by a service at 1 p.m., both held at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Rd., Manteca, CA. He will be laid to rest with his beloved wife at East Union Cemetery. An online guest book is available for condolences to the family at www.plfryandson.com
