Wanda Arlene Auchard, met her Lord and Savior, on her 73rd birthday, December 16, 2020.
Mrs. Auchard is survived by her loving family, husband Dennis Auchard of 49 years, children Kenny Auchard and Sandy Mercer (Steve), granddaughters Gracie and Libby Mercer and two siblings Barbara Hunt Crawford and Donnie Hunt Sr.
Wanda was a resident of Manteca for over 49 years. She retired from the government after 34 years as a Sorter Classifier working for Sharpe Army Depot, Tracy Defense and Rough and Ready Islands. She was a member of Cornerstone Community Church where she was loyal member and absolutely loved being on the Sunday morning greeting crew. Wanda loved people, and people loved her. She fully enjoyed volunteering at church with the women’s ministries, Classic Ministries for seniors, and led the Explorers weekly Bible study group. Some of her favorite pastimes were crossword puzzles and playing Sudoku. Above all, Wanda loved her family; she adored her grandchildren and looked forward to spending quality time with them. Her unconditional love never went unnoticed. Wanda will be remembered for her zest for life and her love for her Lord Jesus. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
