Wanda Dee (Pittman) Langum, age 77, entered into rest on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 in her cherished home in Manteca, CA. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Juanita Pittman and her brother, Bobby.

Wanda was born in Gainesville, Texas, and came to California when she was six years old. She grew up in Riverbank and graduated from Oakdale HS. She leaves behind her loving husband of 57 years, Paul Langum of Manteca, as well as her daughters, Pamela DeAnn Langum of Ripon, and Paula Langum Fonseca of Manteca, son in law Edward M. Fonseca, granddaughters Lacey, Amber, and Brittany Fonseca, and Sandra Fonseca Wages of Texas. She is also survived by her siblings Betty Fielder of Modesto, Pat Foiles of Manteca, and Roy Pittman of Nevada.

Wanda was a Manteca resident for over 45 years, working as a secretary and office manager from her teen years until she retired. Her second career was her most beloved, taking care of her three granddaughters. From the time they were born until they graduated college, Wanda was known for attending every dance recital, sports event or function that the girls were involved in. Wanda enjoyed traveling with her husband Paul to places like Alaska, Hawaii and The Panama Canal. Many Mantecans will know her as living in the corner house with all the Christmas lights. Wanda and Paul have decorated their home with thousands of lights each Christmas for the past four decades.

She will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother and cherished grandmother.

P.L. Fry and Son is honored to be serving the Langum Family. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 from 1:00 - 5:00 pm at P.L.Fry and Son, 290 North Union Road, Manteca, CA. Services will be Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest at Burwood Cemetary, Escalon, CA.
