Wanda Mae Gobourne, 82, entered into rest on April 3, 2018 in Manteca. She was born June 28, 1935 in Tulare, California to the late Kenneth and Dorothy Robertson.
   Wanda is preceded in death by her parents and first husband Billy Wayne Covington and her second husband Lloyd G. Gobourne, Jr. as well as her son James Allan Covington.
   Wanda leaves behind her children, Kenneth Wayne Covington and Linda Eileen Moody. She was blessed with six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
    Wanda was a Manteca/ Stockton resident. She retired from Sharpe Army Depot where she was a System Analyst. She was a member of The Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Northland Ward. She enjoyed Toastmasters and genealogy. 
She accomplished her dream of going back to school after retirement to receive her Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts at University of the Pacific. She loved her family dearly and always remained active in charity events. She will be remembered for her determined and loving spirit. She will be deeply missed.

Fry is honored to serve Wanda’s family a funeral service which will be held at The Church of Latter Day Saints, 1233 Northgate Drive, Manteca, CA at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2018.  She will be laid to rest at Galt Cemetery privately.
