Warren Ray Dale, age 93, was born on October 3, 1919 and was raised in Jenks, Oklahoma.  He passed away on March 4, 2013 in Manteca.  He came to California seeking work, but discovered love with Mary Carney.  They were married for 69 years.  They built a life here in Manteca since 1946, which included raising two children, Judy and Ronnie, establishing a family rental business, and traveling to the coast.

Warren loved to golf, travel, ride horses, walk, hunt, and fish, work with wood, and raise a garden.  He loved having family dinners with vegetables from his garden.

He was preceded in death by his parents Andrew and Minnie Dale, sister Vera Helm, and his beloved wife, Mary Dale.

Warren worked in the Conservation Corps, served three years in the Army Air Corps, ran the Seaside Service Station at the west end of Manteca, sold real estate for Raymus Realty in Manteca and Stone Brothers of Stockton.  He was happiest when involved with a building and construction project and was proud of the fact that he followed in his father’s footsteps and was recognized as a carpenter.  He is credited with having built and operated the first  coin operated car wash in Manteca.  Warren built numerous duplex units and operated a family rental business from 1960 until the present day.

Warren has five grandchildren; Ron Dale, Michael Dale, Ashley Dale, Jeannie Pacheco and Chuck Pacheco; and three great grandchildren; Autumn, Justice and JaVina.
