Wayburn S. Rogers passed away on Feb. 28, 2011. He was born on Sept. 1, 1939 in Oklahoma City, OK.

Wayburn lived in Manteca for 31 years and was a stock prep engineer for 30 years at the Ripon Paper Mill.  He enjoyed baseball, softball, 49er’s games, and NASCAR racing. He cherished being around his family most of all. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his son Shaun Rogers and wife Belinda, his daughter Leila Rogers of Manteca, 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.  He was proceeded in death by his wife, Dessie Mae Rogers, and sons, Bret L. and Wayburn A. Rogers.

Visitation will be on Monday March 7, 2011 from 9 to 11 a.m. with services beginning at 11 a.m.. at the Park View Memorial Chapel, 3661 E. French Camp Road in Manteca. Burial will follow at Park View Cemetery.
