Wesley “Okie” Boerner, 91, died January 8 at New Hope Care Center in Tracy. He was a resident of Tracy and was a native of Durant, Oklahoma born on March 14, 1918.

Mr. Boerner is survived by his wife of 24 years, Evelyn Boerner of Tracy; father of Frankie L. Boerner of Palm Springs and James W. Boerner and wife Carol of Imperial; brother of June Clifton of Oklahoma City, OK; grandfather of three and great-grandfather of six. He was preceded in death by his first wife, the late Oletha L. Boerner, who passed away in 1982.

At his request there will be no services and burial will be private. Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave. has been entrusted with arrangements.
