After the sudden passing of Adrianus in 1970 she continued to pursue her & Aat’s dream of providing a better future for their family in the U.S.. For five years she raised her 7 children, ages 3-14, by herself. She then married Max Loren in 1974. During their 34 years of marriage they enjoyed square dancing, traveling, and spending time with the family and friends. Wilhelmina also enjoyed doing crafts, such as needlepoint, crocheting, knitting, and made gifts and cards that will be cherished by her family. She also enjoyed her two loyal dogs, reading, playing games, and swimming and camping, these are traditions that she had passed on to her family. Sunday breakfast at her house was another of many cherished traditions. She was a devout Catholic and was an active member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church for 48 years. She was preceded in death by two loving husbands, a daughter, a son and a grandson. She instilled many positive values in her children with strength and love that she has shown them throughout the years. She was the “Rock” of our family.
