William “Bill” Clausen, age 84, entered into rest on May 7, 2013 in Manteca. He was born on June 25, 1928 in Brooklyn, New York.  He is preceded in death by his stepson, Joe Teicheira. He was a resident of Manteca for 60 years. Delete - Merge Upbodycopy

Bill is survived by his wife of 34 years, Angie Teicheira Clausen of Manteca and his stepson Jim Teicheira of Manteca. He was blessed with five grandchildren, Jana (Kevin) Jeffries of Oakdale, Jim Teicheira Jr. of Manteca, Julie (Jim) Neri of La Grange, Joey Teicheira of Modesto, and Corporal Casey Teicheira of San Diego; and five great grandchildren, Kyle Jeffries, Jimmy Neri, Zack Neri, Alyssa Neri and Trinity Teicheira.  Delete - Merge Upbodycopy

Bill was a Sergeant in the United States Air Force from 1947 to 1950, where he served in the Philippines, as a powerplant mechanic. Bill was decorated with the WWII Victory Metal. Upon leaving the military in 1950, Bill moved to Rio Vista and then to Stockton, where he met his wife, Angie in 1975. They married in 1979, bringing Bill to Manteca, where he resided until his death. Bill worked as a mechanic for Holt Brothers of Stockton and is a past President of the Stockton Motorcycle Club.Delete - Merge Upbodycopy

Bill was a member of The Operating Engineers Local Union No. 3, the National Rifle Association, M.R.P.S. Hall and Saint Anthony’s Catholic Church of Manteca.Delete - Merge Upbodycopy

Bill was proud to be a stepdad, grandfather and great grandfather and will be missed by his family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2013, 1pm to 6pm with a  Rosary to follow at 6pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013,  at 11:00am at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 505 E. North Street, Manteca.  Final resting place will be St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, 17871 S. Carrolton Road, Escalon. Remembrances may be sent to The American Heart Association, 1212 W.
