William Jeffery
July 3, 1946-June 8, 2025
William Jeffery obit

William "Bill" Jeffery passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025, in Manteca, California, surrounded by his loving family.

Bill was married to his devoted wife and high school sweetheart, Linda, for 56 years. Together they built a life filled with love and laughter. He was the proud father of Aaron Jeffery (Rosie) and Stacy Jeffery, both of Manteca. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren; Bradee Jeffery, Evan Jeffery, Dillon Lauborough, and Clayton Lauborough, and great-grandchildren Bentleigh Lauborough and Josephine Lauborough.

Bill honorably served in the United States Army for two years and served a tour of duty in Vietnam before embarking on a successful career as a Quality assurance Inspector. Outside of work, he had a deep passion for automobiles. He enjoyed working on and painting cars, attending car shows, and was an active member of several car clubs throughout his life. He was a past member of the Clutch Burners and P-Town Push Rods, the Nuts and Bolts and, most recently, a proud member of the Central Valley Early Iron Car Club.

A true enthusiast at heart, Bill enjoyed playing sports. He was very skilled at billiards and also found joy in bowling, which he was still doing, and spending time with his family. He especially loved attending his grandchildren’s sporting events and tried to attend every game. Known for his quick wit and outgoing personality, Bill was a jokester who never met a stranger—his warmth and humor left lasting impressions on everyone he encountered. He will be eternally loved and missed.
