William Wayne Peterson, 86, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010 at Manteca Care Center. He is survived by his wife Esther Peterson of Manteca; his daughter and son-in-law Kay and Ronald Keil of Corvallis, Oregon; his grandsons, John and Christopher Keil of Corvallis; his brother, Richard Eugene Peterson of Chico; and great-granddaughter Katie Keil of Bryan, Texas; also survived by his step-daughters, Cathy, Lyn, and Cindy Rundell.

William was born in Chicago, Illinois, coming to California at a very young age. His parents settled in Jackson, California where he graduated high school and joined the Air Corps as a navigator with the 877th Bomb Squadron, attaining the rank of Sergeant. He then went to work at Sharpe Army

Depot as a Production Controller in the air maintenance division and retired in 1973.

Per his request, there will be no services. The Neptune Society Cremation handled the cremation.
