Yolanda Elizalde, 60, passed away on May 12, 2011 at Doctor’s Hospital of Manteca.  Born to John and Mary Sanchez on January 27, 1951 in Santa Maria, California she has called the Tracy/Manteca area her home her entire life.

Yolanda worked at Swiss American Sausage in Lathrop as a processor for 10 years.  She was a member of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church and she loved to paint and cook.  She was always taking care of her boys and was always happy.  Her most prized possession was spending time with her family.

Her survivors include her children: Angie Gannon of Manteca; Neil Baker and his wife Lani of Tracy; Ross Baker of Tracy; Shawn Baker of Payette, Idaho and Troy Baker of Ontario, Oregon; 8 grandchildren; her sisters: Rosie Strmiska of Tracy; Eleanor Gomez of Tracy; Madeline Martinez of Manteca and Cynthia Cisneroz of Tracy; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Mary Sanchez.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 23, 2011 from 2 until 7 p.m., followed by a vigil service at 7 p.m. both held at Fry Memorial Chapel 550 S. Central Ave., Tracy.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church 163 W. Eaton Ave., Tracy.  Her final resting place will be at Tracy Public Cemetery.  An online guest book is available at www.frymemorialchapel.com to send your condolences to the family.
