Yolanda Travis, 63, entered into rest on May 29, 2010 in Manteca, California.  She was born on January 16, 1947 in Bisbee AZ. She joins her daughter in heaven Dena Travis.

Yolanda is survived by her husband of 40 years Timothy Travis of Manteca. Her sons are George Noonan and John Noonan both of Sierra Vista, AZ. She was blessed with 5 grandchildren; Jacob Mix  and Samantha Mix both of Lathrop and George Noonan Jr., Alex Noonan, and Danielle Noonan all of Sierra Vista, AZ. She has one great-grandson Isaiah Noonan. She is also survived by her step- father Lawrence Richards of Sierra Vista, AZ.  In addition Yolanda is survived by 4 siblings Pete Salazar and Yvette Richards both of Sierra Vista, AZ., Louisa Vallejo of Phoenix, AZ., and Larry Richards of Prescott, AZ.

 Yolanda enjoyed teaching children as she worked as a pre-school teacher for many years. She worked at various pre-schools such as Tender Loving Care of Tracy and Jefferson School District also in Tracy. She loved her grandchildren and supported them in all that they did. She loved the little things in life always cherishing every moment spent with her family. Her caring selfless like spirit was never unnoticed by her family and friends. She was a fun loving lady who had a heart of gold. She will be missed.

 Mrs. Travis’ services are being handled by P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home of Manteca. Friends and Family are invited to an open house gathering held on Thursday, June 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. at 2301 Alexis Lane Tracy, Ca.
