    Zeb Motley, 84, entered into eternal rest on January 26, 2015 in Manteca, CA.
    He was born in Concord, NC to the late Dave and Mary Motley.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sons.  He leaves behind his loving wife, Maxine Motley, his grandson, Shaun Casey (Kim), and three great-grandchildren, Allyssa, Maryjane, and Shaun Jr. also surviving are three sisters, Mildred Cramer in Concord NC, Sarah Tobin, Charlotte, NC, Alice Blackwelter Lawrenceville, GA and Martha Linker, Winston-Salem, NC.
    Zeb joined the Navy in 1952 and served in the Vietnam and Korean wars.  He was stationed on serveral ships along with some shore duty during his twenty years in the Navy.
     In 1972, he attended Humphreys College for accounting and San Joaquin Delta for bookkeeping.  In June of 1972, he bought Kamper Korner and sold trailers and pick-up tops.  In 1980, he started raising horses and racing them, then in 1987, he sold his business and trained his own horses.  In 2000, he sold his ranch and retired to Manteca, CA.
    He belonged to the Fleet Reserve Assoc., American Legion and enjoyed their activites.
   Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service at 1p.m. at Almond Blossom Clubhouse at 1901 E. Yosemite Ave., Manteca, CA.
