Manteca City Council members Steve DeBrum, Vince Hernandez and Debby Moorhead have my congratulations and thanks for stopping two projects likely to experience large and increasing maintenance costs while revenues are flat at best, or most likely, declining.
Thank you for considering the city as a whole as the most important consideration. Your action is truly pre-emergent treatment to slow rapid cost growth.
The Bulletin’s recently published $62 million park wants listing and associated maintenance estimates clearly demonstrate that city staff is well aware additional money and jobs grow on park trees and shrubs in Manteca.
